Central Coast Model Submarine Regatta

Due to the wonderful time had by all at the inaugural Central Coast SubRegatta, the Triple "S" Model Boat Group is looking forward to making this a regular, biennial event (odd years) to complement the other Australian Canberra Subregatta. Our submarine-mad modellers enjoy:

    A huge, clear, heated pool - 50m long, 1.8m deep and wide enough for even the biggest submarines to turn with ease
    Lots of poolside shelter for both equipment and elevated running
    Very interesting & informative night-time dinner presentations on the latest in model submarine technology - special thanks to Jim R & John S this year
    A lovely ocean-side location at beautiful Gosford on the NSW Central Coast

Being held on the Queen's Birthday long weekend in June, some suggested accomodation options in Gosford are shown below relative to the pool venue (far right) on Brisbane Waters. We've found the Galaxy Motel & RSL Club, 2nd from left on the map, is very popular with our members.
