Where Are We?

The Triple "S" Model Boat Group sails every Saturday, Tuesday & Thursday mornings from approximately 8am. Our usual running schedules are as follows:

Saturday Tuesday Thursday 7am - 10am:   Sail, Scale & Steam 7am - 12pm: Sail, Scale & Steam 7am - 12pm: Sail, Scale & Steam 10am - 11am: Fast Electrics (when present) No Fast Electrics except by request No Fast Electrics except by request 11am - 12pm: Sail, Scale & Steam     12pm - 3pm:   Fast Electrics

Our home port is the large "picnic" lake behind the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall. Upon entering the complex from Bicentennial Road, follow the main ring road (Melaluca Drive) around to the left. Shortly after passing the entrance to the maintenance depot on the left, a green sign on the same side labelled "Triple-S" points you into the car park. Our clubhouse and covered launching platform can be seen immediately to the left of the carpark as you approach the lake.

Don't forget that picnic facilities including tables/chairs, free electric BBQ's, toilets, children's playground and a paved walking/riding track are also available at this lovely grassy lake-side location.
